By Oliver Fisher -

The Zlatan Ibrahimovic effect is already in full swing as a huge crowd is reportedly expected at San Siro on Monday for Milan vs. Sampdoria.

The Rossoneri announced the news of the Swede’s return via a statement on their official website, with Ibrahimovic having put pen to paper on a deal which will run until the end of the season, with the option for a 12-month extension based on certain objectives.

Hundreds of fans were present to greet the Swede at Casa Milan after he signed his contract, and he gave his first press conference on Friday in front of the media at the club’s headquarters.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport – as cited by MilanNews.it –  there could be 60,000 fans at San Siro on Monday for the game against Sampdoria.

Two days before the game, there have already been 56,000 tickets sold and it is easy to imagine that the number will still increase.

The top two current home attendances for the Rossoneri this season are Inter (70,440) and Napoli (61,658).
