Reports: More details of Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s contract at Milan emerge

By Oliver Fisher -

More details have emerged regarding the contract that Zlatan Ibrahimovic will sign upon the confirmation of his return to AC Milan.

Milan have been persistently linked with a move for Ibrahimovic by a number of outlets over the past two months, but it appears all is now set for the Swede’s return.

According to reports from MilanNews.it on Thursday, only the final details are missing for Ibrahimovic who has made up his mind: he wants to rejoin the Rossoneri.

A number of different outlets have backed up that report by claiming that the 38-year-old has said yes to another spell at San Siro, and the striker himself may have confirmed the move on his Instagram story.

According to il Corriere della Sera – as cited by MilanNews.it – Ibrahimovic is likely to make a salary of €3m for the first six months and €5m for the following season (bonuses included).

Meanwhile, Nicolo Schira of La Gazzetta dello Sport is reporting similar figures, but that he could reach €6m in the 2020-21 season if all the bonuses are achieved.
