GdS: Ibrahimovic’s return date set as Kessie runs into further difficulties – the situation

By Oliver Fisher -

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is expected to return to Italy in the next 48 hours but Franck Kessie is having more problems, reports claim.

Milan asked all players to return from their respective countries by Thursday to begin preparation for the season getting back underway.

However, Ibrahimovic has asked the club to remain in Sweden until there are official decisions on resuming training, but according to today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) he will soon be back.

The striker is is expected in Milan on either Friday or Saturday, and once back the Swede will have to undergo a quarantine period as scheduled for those returning to Italy from abroad.

Meanwhile, the same outlet claims that Kessie is struggling to arrange a flight back to Milano, but the club have not made a private jet available yet for two reasons: one because the Ivory Coast is not around the corner, and two because it would be pointless and expensive given the absence of a fixed date for a return to training.
