Rafael Leao was behind all three goals for AC Milan in their game against Empoli yesterday, showing his qualities once again after missing the Napoli clash. He remains the king of the team, as a report highlights.
It was indeed a dramatic win for the Rossoneri as after Ante Rebic gave them the lead in the 79th minute (Leao assist); Empoli equalised in the 92nd minute. In the attack after, Fode Ballo-Toure restored the lead and then Leao also got a goal.

As highlighted by today’s edition of Gazzetta Dello Sport, as cited by MilanNews, Leao is a pillar of Stefano Pioli’s side. The renewal, however, has not yet been sorted by the Milan management and as the performances keep coming, it’s more and more relevant.
The renewal would cost around €65m for Milan and evaluations are underway, also because it’s a complicated situation with the fine to Sporting. In any case, Leao showed exactly what he means for the team yesterday and his qualities will be needed for the upcoming three games (Chelsea X2, Juventus).
