Talks are underway between AC Milan and Sassuolo surrounding midfielder Stefano Sensi, according to a report.
It was claimed in March that the Rossoneri were set to scout Sensi during his time with the national team, while Leonardo reportedly saw a January approach for the player immediately blocked by Sassuolo.
With Riccardo Montolivo, Andrea Bertolacci and Jose Mauri all set to leave this summer, Milan will want some midfield depth ahead of likely playing in three competitions next season.
Schira claims that the Rossoneri hierarchy have tabled a five-year contract offer for Sensi, worth €1.5m a season.
Sassuolo for their part are not willing to back down on the €25million valuation they have slapped on the 23-year-old.
Sensi has made 28 appearances in Serie A this season, amassing two goals and five assists.
