GdS: Milan and Inter both want Fiorentina star but bid of €45-50m will be needed

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan and Inter are both interested in signing Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic this summer, a report claims, but he will not come cheap.

The Rossoneri are believed to be in the market for a young centre-back who can rotate with captain Alessio Romagnoli and the experienced Simon Kjaer, and Milenkovic is the name that continues to be linked the most.

Repubblica Firenze (via MilanNews) reported on Tuesday that Milan are pressing hard to try and get Milenkovic before the start of next season and are even trying to get Lucas Paquetà into the negotiation to offer an incentive to La Viola.

According to Wednesday’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), both Milan and Inter have set their sights on the Serbia international to reinforce their rearguard, but it will not be straightforward.

Fiorentina’s owner and president Rocco Commisso does not want to sell him and will try to keep him until June 2021, however if a club makes an offer of €45-50million, he will let him leave.
