GdS: Milan could finally land Real Madrid playmaker this summer as €20m price is set

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have cast their sights on Isco who could leave Real Madrid this summer for an affordable price, according to a report.

This morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) writes how the Rossoneri management are looking for a attacking midfielder to replace Hakan Calhanoglu and this time there seems to be the conditions for the signing of Isco to potentially go through.

Carlo Ancelotti, the new coach of Real Madrid, does not consider him as a big part of his plans and therefore will not oppose his sale. Isco scored zero goals in LaLiga last season and his contract is due to expire in a year, so therefore the cost of his transfer should not exceed €20m.

The contract situation means that a loan hypothesis is off the table, unless the player extends into the next few weeks, but this seems to be a rather unlikely scenario. Relations between Milan and Real are excellent as evidenced by the Theo Hernandez and Brahim Diaz operations, and the quality of the four-time Champions League winner could really help the Diavolo.

  1. I think, in term of characteristic and transfer costs, Sabitzer (27) would be more suitable for Milan than Icso.
