GdS: Milan could reignite interest in Strasbourg star Simakan in the summer – the situation

By Oliver Fisher -

There is still a chance that AC Milan could sign Mohamed Simakan from Strasbourg in the summer, according to a report.

It has been reported by a number of different sources that Simakan was the No.1 target for the Milan management in the January window, however the pursuit was complicated by the fact he will be out for two months with a minor knee surgery.

Fikayo Tomori will arrive from Chelsea this month instead, but La Gazzetta dello Sport (via PianetaMilan) reports that the possible arrival of Simakan in the summer cannot be excluded.

The paper claims that the paths of the two central defenders could go hand in hand, as Leo Duarte has already left the club and at the end of the season they will lose Musacchio too.

Therefore, it could be that Simakan returns to the top of Milan’s wish list, especially if Tomori were to go back to Chelsea at the end of the season.
