GdS: Milan defender happy to sanction PSV move despite Watford, Napoli interest

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan full-back Ricardo Rodriguez is open to the idea of a move to Dutch giants PSV Eindhoven this month, a report claims.

Rodriguez did not train with the rest of his AC Milan team-mates at Milanello on Monday, according to MilanNews.it, with exit speculation continuing to mount.

We reported on December 20 via our mercato expert Vito Angele that the Swiss international has already found agreement with Milan to leave outright in January, so as not to risk losing his place in the Switzerland national team for the upcoming European Championships.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport – as cited by MilanNews.it – PSV have entered the race for Rodriguez, who has been linked with Watford, Napoli and Fenerbahce.

The paper reports that the Eredivisie club would be a welcome destination for the former Wolfsburg man who – after having lost his starting position to Theo Hernandez – is looking for a team that allows him to play continuously as a starter.
