GdS: Milan in a hurry to renew €55m star as Arsenal lead the teams in England interested

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan must try to hurry and resolve the renewal of Franck Kessie given that a number of Premier League clubs are interested, a report claims.

Gianluigi Donnarumma has decided to turn his back on the Milan project in favour of earning more money at Paris Saint-Germain while Hakan Calhanoglu has also made the choice to reject the Rossoneri’s contract offer and move to Inter.

That is why Milan know they cannot afford to get the renewal of Kessie wrong given his deal expires in 2022. According to the latest from La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), the renewal of Kessie is a priority for the Rossoneri leadership but they must hurry.

The 24-year-old former Atalanta star is being courted by a number of English clubs – Arsenal above all – and he will not lack the opportunities to showcase his talent when participating in the Champions League next season. Transfermarkt has his market value at €55m, but in truth after a season of excellent performances it could be even more.
