GdS: Milan keen on offloading duo before transfer window ends – the situation

By Isak Möller -

Milan aren’t just looking to improve the squad by signing players, but they also want to offload a few. Having many players doesn’t always mean good depth, which is why a few sales are expected.

According to today’s edition of Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews), Samu Castillejo and Andrea Conti are destined to leave the Rossoneri this summer. However, it’s been far from easy to find a new club each for them.

Castillejo has attracted interested in Spain, with the likes of Getafe and Real Betis mentioned, but there have been no concrete offers. His exit could be important for Milan to fund the final signings of the mercato, as every little amount will help.

As for Conti, a move to another Serie A club is the most likely outcome as the player wants to stay in Italy. He hasn’t exactly been spectacular in the last few seasons, though, failing to attract a lot of interest.
