AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli already has ideas regarding the starting line-up that he will field for the games against Atalanta and Newcastle United, a report claims.
Milan face two crucial upcoming games which will be big indicators of their domestic and European ambitions, and this morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport talks about when each of the injured players should be back.
The paper also (as seen below) predicts the line-ups for each of the upcoming games. Against Atalanta, Theo should play as a centre-back against with Alessandro Florenzi on the left, then Yacine Adli in the double pivot and Olivier Giroud returning up front.
A few days later in Newcastle, Simon Kjaer should be fit again to start with Theo moving back to left-back. Yunus Musah should take back his spot from Adli, with Christian Pulisic shifting to the right wing and Rafael Leao returning to the attack.
Probable Milan XI vs. Atalanta (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Calabria, Tomori, Hernandez, Florenzi; Adli, Reijnders; Chukwueze, Loftus-Cheek, Pulisic; Giroud.
Probable Milan XI vs. Newcastle (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Calabria, Kjaer, Tomori, Hernandez; Musah, Reijnders; Pulisic, Loftus-Cheek, Leao; Giroud.
