GdS: Milan open talks with PSG and could favour Inter – defender keen on move

AC Milan are looking for a centre-back on the market and Abdou Diallo has been mentioned lately. The PSG man has also been linked with the Rossoneri in the past and talks are now underway between the clubs.

Alessio Romagnoli’s exit has inevitably left a gap in Milan’s squad and this is something that the management wants to solve. According to the latest reports from Gazzetta Dello Sport, they have opened talks with PSG over Diallo.

Both parties are keen on reaching an agreement and they are currently talking about the best formula for the move. Diallo has made it clear that he wants to leave in order to get more playing time ahead of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

The salary is an obstacle that must be sorted as Diallo currently earns €5m per year, but the feeling is that this can be overcome. The transfer could end up favouring Inter as PSG are currently in talks over Skriniar, but their current offer of €55m is too far from the request of €70m. Selling Diallo could give them more funds, therefore.
