GdS. Milan player ratings for Bologna win – CDK praised; Messias fails again

AC Milan comfortably beat Bologna by two goals to nil last night and were rightfully praised by the media afterwards. There were a few standout performances, including that of Charles De Ketelaere who made his first start.

The Rossoneri got back to winning ways after the 1-1 draw against Atalanta and they did it in great fashion. De Ketelaere combined with Rafael Leao for the first goal and the Portuguese winger then delivered the assist for Olivier Giroud’s goal.

Today’s edition of Gazzetta Dello Sport took stock of the individual performances of Milan and De Ketelaere was given the MOTM award. He was given the same rating as Leao, 7.5, but slightly edged the winger with his impressive performance.

Pierre Kalulu and Olivier Giroud were just behind the duo at 7, while the likes of Ismael Bennacer and Sandro Tonali were rated at 6.5. The midfield duo did really well to control the game and keep Bologna at bay.

Mike Maignan, Davide Calabria, Fikayo Tomori, Theo Hernandez, Junior Messias, Tommaso Pobega, Alexis Saelemaekers and Yacine Adli all passed the test at 6/10. However, Messias was named the worst player for Milan as his impact was almost non-existent.
