GdS: Milan ratings for Lecce draw – Hernandez ‘devastating’; Conti a ‘mess’

By Oliver Fisher -

Hakan Calhanoglu was the best player on the pitch during Milan’s draw with Lecce but Andrea Conti was the worst, According to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Rossoneri twice let the lead slip at San Siro on Sunday night, with Hakan Calhanoglu’s first half-volley cancelled out by a Khouma Babacar penalty and Krzysztof Piatek’s 81st minute goal denied being the winner by Marco Calderoni’s screamer in added time.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport – as cited by MilanNews.it – the man of the match was Calhanoglu, who scored 7.5/10 in their player ratings thanks to a goal and an assist.

Theo Hernandez was scored a 7 and was described as ‘devastating’ on the left side, while it was a 6.5 for Donnarumma and Piatek.

Alessio Romagnoli, Franck Kessie, Mateo Musacchio, Lucas Paquetà, Rafael Leao and substitute Rade Krunic all scored 6/10.

However, Suso and Lucas Biglia scored 5.5, and right-back Conti – in for the suspended Davide Calabria – was described as a ‘mess’ and got the worst rating (5/10).
