There was a real mixed bag of performances as AC Milan made hard work of beating struggling Hellas Verona with Sandro Tonali scoring a winner late on.
In their ratings, La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanPosts) began by giving the team’s performance overall a 6.5 out of 10, which was the same score that Stefano Pioli got for his management and not being afraid to make changes at the interval.
The man of the match was Sandro Tonali who received a score of 7, while the player who struggled the most in the eyes of the paper was Matteo Gabbia who turned the ball into his own net for Verona’s equaliser and got a 5.
Ciprian Tatarusanu got a 5.5, Pierre Kalulu and Theo Hernandez got the same, then Fikayo Tomori got a 6 to round off the defence. Rade Krunic scored a 5.5, Brahim Diaz a 6, Yacine Adli a 5 and Rafael Leao a 6.5.
Olivier Giroud got a 5 for missing a big chance to make it 2-0, with Divock Origi (5.5), Ante Rebic (6.5) and Malick Thiaw (7) – who made two outstanding blocks – coming on as subs.
only Sempre Milan overrates Origi, he was crap but people dont wanna admit it
Adli lovers, how are you? All the individual traits won’t do good in this kind of Milan without tactical knowledge and team integration. So yes, just be patience. It’s only been 2-3 months. His time will come if he’s that good.

I can be completely sure that the following sentence would be Krunic. Not a single day goes by here without him being unjustly criticized or compared.
We got the win just …we need to improve ,but I really do believe we can win the scuddeto again this season .I am a huge Olivier Giroud fan ,but a little bit disappointed with him last night ,,the thing is ,I believe he is trying too hard ,and he is not as relaxed on the ball as he was..That said he will come good again ,and the goals will come ..I thought rafeol Leao was also a little disappointing, again same as Olivier he is not as relaxed on the ball as he was but of course he is a class player and very important for AC Milan.
I am not being negative in fact the opposite..
Oliver and leao will both be back to there best soon .
