The signature on the contract that will mark a one-year extension for Zlatan Ibrahimovic is just days away, according to a report.
The Swede has 15 goals in 16 Serie A appearances and but for some unfortunate muscle injuries, he could very well have powered the team into a commanding lead at the top of the table. In short, he continues to prove the doubters wrong with his match-winning performances.
MilanNews reported earlier in the month that Ibra is moving towards a one-year renewal with Milan and ‘the announcement is really close’. The report added how in a few days he will sign the contract, keeping the current salary with the inclusion of bonuses for objectives such as goals and appearances.
According to this morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), Ibra will sign his new deal on either Monday and Tuesday. A full agreement over the renewal has been reached, and only the official status is missing.
