AC Milan still have Lucas Paqueta on the market despite a bright performance in Wednesday’s friendly win over Novara, a report claims.
Paqueta has been repeatedly linked with a possible summer exit as he was one of the only Milan players who didn’t have a surge in form post-lockdown.
There have been rumours that his future is away from the club, but he put that to one side on Wednesday evening, scoring twice to lead a comeback against Novara.
However, Thursday’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) are reporting that good performances in preseason games – like the one yesterday against Novara – could function purely as a showcase for the young Brazilian.
That is because the Rossoneri management are waiting for convincing offers for Paqueta, offers which have not yet arrived but certainly have a better chance of doing so if he continues to show his technical ability.
