GdS: Milan very close to announcing return of Real Madrid man on loan with option – the details

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are closing in on being able to secure the return of Brahim Diaz from Real Madrid, according to a report.

La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) writes how Brahim Diaz had some initial difficulties in adapting to Serie A, but then his performance grew with the passage of time and he became among the protagonists of the late-season surge that secured Champions League qualification.

Milan are trying to keep him as he arrived last summer on a dry loan from Real Madrid, so they are now negotiating to find a new agreement with Real Madrid. Milan and Los Blancos have now reached an agreement in principle on the basis of a loan with option to buy set at €20m.

There are only some final details to be defined such as whether or not there will be a buy-back option in favour of Real, but the feeling is that it can be closed rather quickly and the Spaniard will be able to return to Italy.
