GdS: Milan want to keep Brahim Diaz and player wants to stay – work begins with Real Madrid

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan want to keep Brahim Diaz beyond the expiry of his loan spell and they have an important factor in their favour, a report claims.

Brahim Diaz joined Milan on a season-long dry loan from Real last summer and he has certainly made a valuable contribution to the team’s success on the field, helping them finish second in the league with some excellent performances late in the campaign.

Given that there is no option to buy currently inserted into the deal, Milan must re-negotiate to keep him. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), the player’s will is to stay at Milan, and in turn the club are aiming to keep the young Spanish midfielder in their squad.

For this reason, the Rossoneri are already working with Real Madrid, hoping to obtain an agreement at an affordable price that benefits all parties. There will be developments in the coming weeks.
