AC Milan’s defensive department is young and continues to grow, both in terms of maturity and level of performance but also in their market value.
There is no doubting that the rearguard became Milan’s strength during the Scudetto run-in last season as the Rossoneri kept nine clean sheets in their final 11 league games, with just two goals conceded in that stretch.

This morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) dedicates a feature to Milan’s defence titled: “From Maignan to Theo: now the defense is worth over 200 million.”
The paper outlines how the back line have grown a lot over the past couple of seasons under the guidance of head coach Stefano Pioli and is now worth over €200m in total.
They believe that Mike Maignan is worth about €45m, Pierre Kalulu around €30m, Davide Calabria the same, Fikayo Tomori at least €50m and Theo Hernandez €60m. To Milan, however, they are a priceless unit.

If crappy defender like Maguire worth £80 million then Theo is easily worth more than £100 million. The rest i can agreed.
Hypothetically, if any of them were to be sold,
Maignan would go for a lot more than 45 mil. He would go for Keppa, Allison money. Top 5 GK in the world
Kalulu is also not leaving for less than 60 mil. Prototypical modern versatile player who is only 22 and will get better
Calabria maybe 15 mil. I like Davide but there won’t be a lot of interest for him on the market
Theo is a 100 mil man. If some dude Cucurella can go for 70 mil , Theo is worth more than him. Best LB in football. It’s not talked a lot how good he’s become defensively
For Tomori give or take I agree. I don’t think that Tomori is as appreciated as people think outside of Italy .
