AC Milan will be up against Fiorentina on Sunday evening and according to a report, Paulo Fonseca might not make any changes to the starting XI. Or rather, he will rely on the usual starters in an attempt to make it four consecutive wins.
As reported by Gazzetta dello Sport, Fonseca wants to head into the international break with another win in the league, with no dedicated rotation in sight. Alvaro Morata didn’t start against Bayer Leverkusen as he was at 60-70%, but he might be in good enough condition to start tomorrow.
Given the injury of Davide Calabria, the only other change that Fonseca could make would be in the defence, with Strahinja Pavlovic competing for a spot. The feeling, however, is that the centre-back pairing of Matteo Gabbia and Fikayo Tomori will be confirmed once again.
Predicted Milan XI (4-4-2): Maignan; Emerson Royal, Gabbia, Tomori, Hernandez; Pulisic, Fofana, Reijnders, Leao; Abraham, Morata.
The game is scheduled for 20:45 CEST and will take place at Artemio Franchi, where Milan have struggled in recent years even if they won the most recent encounter. With three wins in the bag, they could make it four and boost their confidence ahead of the break.
Morata has to start.
It’d be a good opportunity to see what Musah can do instead of a certain someone.
Loftus cherk is short one, please bench him
Musah can’t pass the ball in any direction.
Musah is/should be a NFL player. All he did so far is take the ball, run with it as far as possible until he is dropped, misspass it or shoot it in the sky.
With the exception of dribbling and carrying, Musah is in low percentiles in every aspect of the game.
i hope they are working on Musah in training. Second year in, Good role model in Fofana. Need to start seeing improvements.
Perhaps musah can also play as backup to pulisic since chukwueze has flopped, at least he is a ball carrier who can run down the flank support the RB and also invert to support the central midfielders.
