GdS: Napoli looking to disrupt Milan’s plan to complete triple raid on Chelsea

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan appear to face some competition from a domestic rival in their bid to bring Tiemoue Bakayoko back to the club, a report claims.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), Milan are looking to raise their tally of Chelsea players signed in the summer window to three by signing Bakayoko to reinforce the midfield after Fikayo Tomori joined permanently and Olivier Giroud’s arrival is imminent.

Milan are ready to enter into a new negotiation with Chelsea over the Frenchman after he Rossoneri shirt in the 2018-19 season when he played at San Siro on loan with an option to buy that was set at €35m but not exercised.

However, Serie A rivals Napoli are looking to disrupt Milan’s plans because new coach Luciano Spalletti has in fact asked club president Aurelio De Laurentiis to do all he can to keep the 26-year-old, who played on loan for the Partenopei last season.
