GdS: News filters from Milan regarding Rangnick’s potential arrival – the latest

By Oliver Fisher -

There is a considerable distance between Ralf Rangnick and AC Milan at present, at least according to what has filtered from the club.

According to Wednesday’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanLive), the Rossoneri have addressed the rumours regarding the possible arrival of Rangnick, stopping short of denying past contacts but claiming there considerable distance.

The report speculates how the reason is likely due to the requests from the German coach, presumably considered excessive by the owners Elliott Management.

Therefore, the chances of Stefano Pioli staying into next season have risen sharply, because his work in restoring the balance after a period of great confusion and disorientation must be appreciated.

Of course, whoever sits on the Rossoneri bench next season will have to deal with a very concentrated project built around young players who can be improved.

AC Milan will hunt for prospective and future talents under 25 years of age, but there may be exceptions to the salary cap, starting with Alessio Romagnoli and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
