In the shadow of the Rafael Leao negotiations, AC Milan are also working on the renewal of Ismael Bennacer. The midfielder has proved his importance this season and optimism is filtering from the negotiations.
The Algerian was a key player during the Scudetto season and amid Franck Kessie’s departure, his importance has only been highlighted this campaign. Without him on the pitch, Milan lose a whole dimension especially when it comes to vertical passing.

According to Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews), negotiations are underway and the parties could reach an agreement at around €3.5-4m. Bennacer has asked for €4m per year but optimism is filtering as the distance is very minimal.
As opposed to the Leao negotiation, Milan are very convinced that they can reach an agreement with the midfielder soon. A player of his calibre deserves that kind of salary and the parties want to continue their partnership together.

Until the demands rise again?
I wonder who they’re sending in to satisfy Bennacer??…. sounds sensual.
On a serious note, are we really not already matching a 4m demand for this caliber of player?? … this is a no-brainer. He’s 100% worth that. Hurry up Maldini, don’t fail at yet another renewal.
No brainer. Done!
And a release clause please…
If this is true, thank you… I’m tired of all these articles now honestly, I just want to see this happen.
Don’t think I’ve ever heard the phrase “optimism filters” before.
