AC Milan are ready to make an effort to satisfy the demands of Franck Kessie and keep him at the club, according to a report.
La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Milan have decided to raise their offer for the renewal of the Ivorian amid interest from Premier League, because Stefano Pioli himself is pushing to see the case resolved as soon as possible especially after the loss of Donnarumma and Calhanoglu.
In the last few hours important reflections have been made between the leaders of the Rossoneri club and the owners themselves and it has been agreed that an allocation can be made for an offer that will come close to the €6m net per season requested – a big pay rise on the current €2.2m per season until 2022.
The dialogue with his agent George Atangana must be resumed and he is in Italy, while the player has already packed his bags for the Japan Olympics. The recalibration of the offer from Milan must start from at least €5m euros, with the addition of substantial bonuses, but Milan appear willing to raise their bid considerably.
La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) recently reported that Kessie’s market value has risen to €50m or more, with several English clubs – Arsenal above all – interested in the player.
Meanwhile, PianetaMilan write Kessie is in the orbit of Chelsea as the ideal replacement for N’Golo Kante should the midfielder be sold, and Eurosport claim Tottenham Hotspur are the third London club who are serious about their interest in signing him.
