Stefano Pioli has some doubts to resolve in the midfield department prior to tomorrow night’s game against Napoli at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona, a report has claimed.
La Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below) talks about the team that Pioli should send out onto the field in Naples, starting with a change in defence where Malick Thiaw – who is suspended – should be replaced by Pierre Kalulu with Davide Calabria at right-back.
In midfield there are the biggest doubts. Ruben Loftus-Cheek will not return as he is still not training with the squad, but Rade Krunić and Tijjani Reijnders seem to be sure of a spot.
The coach’s doubt is between Yunus Musah and Tommaso Pobega, the latter of whom has not played for 25 days, the Borussia Dortmund away game in the Champions League. At the moment, according to the paper, the former Valencia man is ahead.
Up front the choices are obvious: Christian Pulisic and Rafael Leão will flank Olivier Giroud. Both Noah Okafor and Luka Jović will be on the bench as they have recovered.
