AC Milan are preparing themselves for a very important game this evening, taking on Sampdoria at San Siro in the first of three remaining league games. In other words, it’s a must-win for them.
The Rossoneri are currently in fifth place, four points behind Lazio, and need to claim all three points this evening. Should they fail to do so, then a win for the Biancocelesti against Udinese tomorrow would be enough to seal the top-four race.
According to Gazzetta Dello Sport (see photo below), the probable XI is pretty much the expected one, with Malick Thiaw starting at the back again after impressing against Inter. In fact, it’s identical to the one we saw in that game.
Questions can be asked regarding the presence of Junior Messias, who really didn’t have a good game in the second leg (not the first leg either). Alexis Saelemaekers, for example, has been in good form lately but continues to be left on the bench.
Seriously.
Diaz seemingly getting closer and closer to be heading back to Madrid. Why keep giving him minutes? For those who claimed that what has CDK did? Well, with all due respect, this is Sampdoria, and when else you gonna give him a full 90 minutes game? He’s a headless chicken atm, but ffs just show some intent to give him the trust he badly needed.
This is one of those games that we might as well drop him. If we can’t beat Sampdoria without Diaz, then we really don’t deserve champions league.

Dude, Pioli mist give this team best opportunity to earn as much points in last three games. 2 home games are necessary for win, that is something that is like a penalty, so Pioli can’t experiment anymore and just put best possible players. After these three games everything will be different and everything will be known.
The fact is that is Milan loses with CDK you will blame Pioli, if they lose with Diaz you will blame Pioli.
So there no point suggesting he should play a an attacking midfielder that has same assists with a goalkeeper.
For now CDK should completely sit out all games and start afresh from pre season, he completely flopped this season.
Why any Teams that play against milan always play 3 at the back. Spieza did it and succeeded.. inter trash us with same formation as always. Sampdoria never play this formation.. but against milan.. they want to play it. Pioli must learn how to breakdown this formation.. he doesn’t have answer to it at all
