GdS: Probable XIs for Milan vs. Torino – Pioli makes current hierarchy clear

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan are currently gearing up to take on Torino in front of a sold-out San Siro this evening. After the 2-0 win in the opener, Stefano Pioli is not expected to make any changes to the starting XI.

The Rossoneri started the season in the best way possible with a comfortable win and a clean sheet as well. The new signings impressed and although the new tactics still need work, one can understand why Pioli won’t make any changes for tonight’s game.

As reported by Gazzetta Dello Sport (see photo below), the eleven will remain unchanged and this means that Christian Pulisic will start on the right once again. Olivier Giroud was questioned in pre-season but responded in the best way against Bologna, hoping to score again today.

Samuel Chukwueze will likely make an appearance off the bench and the same goes for Yunus Musah, who was suspended last time out. In short, the manager now has depth that he hasn’t had since he took over the club.

Probable Milan XI (4-3-3): Maignan; Calabria, Thiaw, Tomori, Theo Hernandez; Loftus-Cheek, Krunic, Reijnders; Pulisic, Giroud, Leao.

Probable Torino XI (3-4-2-1): Milinkovic-Savic; Schuurs, Buongiorno, Rodriguez; Bellanova, Ricci, Ilic, Vojvoda; Vlasic, Radonjic; Sanabria.

  1. Fabulous line up..
We will win this one by at least two clear goals 3- 1
Giroud and Rafeo leao to get on the scoresheet..
We can make changes when we are winning the game .We have a great squad ,and another 3 points tonight .

    1. Lol what treat so bad?

Musah and Chuk just come so they not straight starting, it’s normal.

Adli last season don’t show anything in the time he was played so he dont play regular. If he showed improvement in training and can convince Pioli, he will play.

The coach is not obliged to play anyone that can’t give what he want.
