The injury bug has struck AC Milan once again with a number of absentees at present, but a number of players could make their return in the next two games against Udinese and Paris Saint-Germain.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below), Stefano Pioli expects to have Christian Pulisic, Simon Kjaer and Samuel Chukwueze back for either the game against the Friulians or the Parisians.
Of the three, the Danish defender is the closest to returning on Saturday which is a real sigh of relief given the emergency in defence, where Marco Pellegrino and Pierre Kalulu are facing long-term absences.
For Pulisic and Chukwueze, however, the return will most likely be postponed by 90 minutes. The American – came off at half-time in Napoli-Milan after providing an assist for Olivier Giroud’s first goal – didn’t suffer any injuries to his thigh but the idea is to rest him.
Chukwueze meanwhile returned warly from his commitments with Nigeria in the last international break, and will try to be back for the PSG game which would still be sooner than initially expected, given the fears were that he would be out until after the November break.
Is “warly” similar to “early?”
