GdS: Raiola holds the keys as Ibrahimovic and Donnarumma deals could be linked

By Oliver Fisher -

The issue of renewing Gianluigi Donnarumma’s contract and a possible return to AC Milan for Zlatan Ibrahimovic could be linked, a report claims.

Yet more reports have emerged in recent days suggesting that Ibrahimovic could re-sign for the Rossoneri in the January transfer window given the team’s dire need for experience, leadership and a proven goalscorer.

La Gazzetta dello Sport claimed earlier on Wednesday that Bologna, Napoli and Milan are the three teams in the running to sign Zlatan, but that the Diavolo may have an advantage due to the player’s love for the city.

According the same outlet – as cited by MilanNews.it – the Ibrahimovic ‘issue’ could intertwine with the renewal of Donnarumma.

Mino Raiola is the agent of both players and is set to meet the Milan leadership soon to talk about the extension of the young goalkeeper, with his current deal scheduled to run out at the end of next season.

With that, the paper hints that the possibility of a return to Milan for Ibrahimovic is likely to come up in conversation, and as such the deals could be thrashed out side by side.
