GdS: Ramadani is Milan’s ally as €50m-rated target pushes for summer Milan move

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan may have a helping hand in their pursuit of Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic in the upcoming window, a report claims.

SportMediaset (via MilanNews) reported on Monday that Milan’s back line will be strengthened by the signing of another centre-back, adding that the management have decided it must be a central defender who already knows Serie A.

According to what is now being reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanLive), Milenkovic is indeed a target for the Rossoneri and the well-known agent Fali Ramadani is in fact pushing to bring his client to Milan.

For now, the renewal negotiation with Fiorentina is frozen, as Viola sporting director Daniele Pradè has accepted all the required conditions – including salary and release clause – but the player has not yet accepted the deal.

If Fiorentina are to sell this summer then the paper claims that they will demand €50m, while instead Milan would like to include at least one player – probably Lucas Paquetà – to try and drastically lower that amount.

It will be necessary to arrive at a meeting point, and it will not be easy. Milenkovic awaits news while Ramadani is in constant contact with Maldini (as he is also the agent of Ante Rebic and Luka Jovic). There is also competition from the Premier League for the Serbia international.
