GdS: Real Madrid want €20m+ for playmaker as Milan plot meeting with father

By Oliver Fisher -

As we get towards the end of the season Brahim Diaz’s future heading into the summer is seemingly no clearer than it was when he joined on loan three years ago.

Today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via PianetaMilan) talks about Brahim Diaz, writing that the Milan management will soon have to make a decision on the Spanish playmaker who will return to Real Madrid at the end of June as things stand.

Yesterday in Spain there was a lot of talk about an imminent renewal with Real Madrid but those are not confirmed by the paper. Instead, a meeting between Milan and Brahim’s father/agent is expected within the new few days.

Paolo Maldini, Ricky Massara and Stefano Pioli appreciate his qualities but even they know that he has not shown himself to be consistent, with his performances in the Champions League derbies against Inter particularly disappointing.

It will be necessary to understand what Milan’s budget will be as a lot depends on qualification for the Champions League, and if the club want to spend the €20m+ needed to sign Brahim, which still not might be enough.

  1. Signing Briam Diaz for anything more than 10mill or signing him at all will be a very stupid decision, we can get quality free transfers for more information than his quality, so I don’t see the wisdom in wasting money when Madrid could take him at anytime

  2. Let him return to Real Madrid. 3 season enough for him. Time to move on for another number 10. Sign kamada free transfer for brahim replacement
