GdS: Romagnoli out of Parma clash but two forwards are set to recover

By Oliver Fisher -

Some news is beginning to emerge regarding the players the head coach Stefano Pioli will have available for this weekend’s trip to Parma.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), defender Alessio Romagnoli is better, but his return to the field will take a few more days and the captain will therefore not be available to Stefano Pioli for Saturday’s match at the Stadio Tardini.

The centre-back pairing of Simon Kjaer and Fikayo Tomori will be confirmed again as per the newspaper, with both having been largely impressive over the past few games.

Good news arrived for Pioli regarding the condition of Rafael Leao yesterday too, as he has been struggling in recent weeks with a muscle problem sustained three weeks ago against Napoli. The forward is back training with the squad and therefore will be available for Saturday’s game.

Meanwhile, Gazzetta add that while Brahim Diaz worked separately in training yesterday he does have a chance of recovering for the game.
