GdS: Simakan only wants Milan – deal could be closed this week with small gap between clubs

AC Milan could close a deal for Strasbourg defender Mohamed Simakan by the end of the week, according to a report.

As Pietro Balzano Prota told us earlier yesterday, there has been an attempt to from RB Leipzig to enter the race, but there is nothing doing.

Milan have moved with greater decision, and contacts with the boy’s entourage have continued. The player’s message on his Instagram story is enigmatic, while the feelings are “positive”, and the “done deal” could come at any moment, also considering Milan’s willingness to make any new arrivals available to Pioli as soon as possible.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reports this morning (via MilanNews) that Simakan has a clear desire to join Milan and for this reason optimism filters from Casa Milan regarding the success of the operation.

The Rossoneri management have tabled an offer worth €14m plus €3m in bonuses, which is just below Strasbourg’s valuation of €18m. The defender is pushing to go to Milan and it is not excluded that the operation may close very soon, perhaps even before the end of this week.

The will of the young defender has been decisive in recent days for the acceleration of the negotiations and now the white smoke seems to be getting closer and closer.
