GdS: The one untouchable player in Milan’s attack under Pioli

By Oliver Fisher -

Head coach Stefano Pioli reportedly considers the place of one Milan forward in the starting XI as untouchable.

Pioli was officially confirmed as the Rossoneri’s new boss last week, taking over from Marco Giampaolo who was sacked after just 111 days in charge.

A lot of the speculation since has been about how the former Lazio, Inter and Fiorentina boss will set his team up, with Sky Italia reporting on Thursday that it could be a 4-3-3 or a 4-2-3-1.

La Gazzetta dello Sport then reported that Pioli is considering making a couple of changes to the attacking trident for the game against Lecce.

However, the same outlet (via MilanNews.it) reports that there is one certainty currently for Pioli and that is that Suso will start on the right.

The Spaniard struggled under Giampaolo who asked him to play different roles, but many are hoping a shift back to his more natural position can help simplify his game and secure a return to form.
