GdS: The three positions Milan wish to address above all before 2023-24

By Oliver Fisher -

The AC Milan management have three priorities in terms of positions to address heading into the summer transfer window, according to a report.

Today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) reports this morning that there are three priorities for the summer transfer window that Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are looking to address.

Centre-forward: It is well known that Milan are in the market for a new striker given Olivier Giroud’s age plus the uncertainty regarding the futures of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Divock Origi and Ante Rebic. Alvaro Morata, Marko Arnautovic and Gianluca Scamacca on the list of targets at present.

Midfield: Given that Franck Kessie was never properly replaced which harmed the depth of the midfield department, a signing is expected in that area too. At the moment, Ruben Loftus-Cheek of Chelsea is on pole.

Winger/playmaker: The paper adds that Milan are in the market for a player who can play both out wide but also behind the centre-forward, with Daichi Kamada currently the main name.

  1. Those are indeed the main ones. But let’s not forget on Theo’s deputy. I am really sad we let Kerkez go. He is developing into really good player in Alkmaar.

  2. RLC not DMF that strong in double pivot. It is wasted fund if AC Milan signed him. But after looking AC Milan awful transfer this season , now i think RLC have high chance to arrive because Director like to sign player without discuss

    1. Watch some of Kamada’s matches then watch Loftus Cheek’s matches. Oh I just realized Loftus is not even a bench player for Chelsea.
