The valuation of AC Milan defender Theo Hernandez has skyrocketed since his arrival from Real Madrid last summer, a report claims.

The defender arrived from Real Madrid last summer, and in 22 Serie A games he has become the club’s second-top scorer with five goals and two assists, plus a goal in the Coppa Italia.

There have been suggestions from Tuttosport that Milan will have a dilemma on their hands this summer with a number of big offers likely to come in for the 22-year-old from Europe’s elite clubs.

However, il Corriere dello Sport reported earlier today that there is no intention on the club’s part to sell Theo, while the player is happy and settled in the city of Milano and wants to stay at Milan for a long time.

According to what La Gazzetta dello Sport are reporting on Wednesday – as cited by MilanNews – the Rossoneri paid €20million to sign him from Real Madrid. But now, thanks to the excellent season he is having, the market value of the French full-back has shot up to €40-50million.

With all the other uncertainty going on at the club one thing seems certain: Theo will be a pillar to build around in the coming years.
