GdS: Three Italian clubs monitoring struggling Milan man Piatek as Roma join race

By Isak Möller -

Despite a very poor start to the season, Kris Piatek is still attracting the interest of several clubs, both in Italy and abroad. In addition to Fiorentina and Genoa, Roma are also keeping tabs on the Polish international.

As reported by today’s edition of Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews.it), the Giallorossi have also joined the race for the 24-year-old, who has scored just four goals in 17 appearances this season so far.

Following the arrival of Ibrahimovic, as the report continues, Piatek could be put on the market by the Rossoneri, who are willing to listen to offers. Then again, a departure would have to be on their terms, having signed the striker for €35m one year ago.

Per the newspaper, Piatek is Roma’s latest idea for the vice-Dzeko role, as the former Milan man Kalinic has failed to impress in the first half of the season. It remains to be seen if the interest will lead to something this month.
