GdS: Two players set for Milan debut in friendly against Cesena

By Oliver Fisher -

New AC Milan duo Ismael Bennacer and Leo Duarte are set to make their debut for the club in the final preseason game against Cesena, a report claims.

Bennacer was officially unveiled as a Milan player last week, having arrived from Empoli in what is believed to be a €16m deal.

Meanwhile, Duarte was announced as the club’s fifth summer signing earlier this week, joining from Flamengo for a reported €11m fee.

Both players put pen to paper on five-year deal with the Rossoneri but have yet to make their debuts for the club.

Next Saturday night, Milan will play their last friendly of the summer against Cesena as they get in a final test before the opening game of the season on 25 August at Udinese.

As per La Gazzetta dello Sport, this is when we can expect the aforementioned duo to make their debut with the Rossoneri shirt.

  1. Welcome to the newly arrived players. One question to the directors: Today you are saying that we need these players; at the end of the season, will you be trying to sell them ?
