GdS: Probable XIs for Juventus vs. Milan – Pioli opts for Messias again

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan will face Juventus away from home tomorrow and it’s an important game in the Champions League race. In fact, a win would secure a top-four finish for the Rossoneri, who must be at their best.

It’s been a tough week for Juventus as the 10-point deduction was confirmed just before their game against Empoli, which they lost 4-1. The Bianconeri are now in seventh place, while Milan are in fourth.

A win would seal the deal for Milan, as they are currently three points ahead of Atalanta and have H2H advantage over them. Stefano Pioli, as reported by Gazzetta Dello Sport (via SempreMilan), has decided to opt for consistency yet again.

In fact, this will be the third consecutive game fielding the exact same line-up. This means that Junior Messias will get the nod again. As for Juventus, the likes of Danilo and Juan Cuadrado will be back in action, while Dusan Vlahovic could miss out due to a minor injury.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Calabria, Thiaw, Tomori, Theo Hernandez, Tonali, Krunic; Messias, Brahim Diaz, Leao; Giroud.

Probable Juventus XI (3-5-2): Szczesny; Gatti, Bremer, Danilo; Cuadrado, Miretti, Locatelli, Rabiot, Kostic; Di Maria, Milik.
