GdS: Probable XIs for Milan vs. Napoli – one battle remains alive

A big fixture awaits AC Milan this evening as Napoli will make their way to San Siro. Two title contenders, in other words, and Stefano Pioli will make a couple of changes to the starting XI.

Rafael Leao is suspended (due to red card vs. Sampdoria) and he will thus miss out on the action. It’s a big blow for Milan as the Portuguese winger has been perhaps their main source of creativity in attack lately.

According to Gazzetta Dello Sport (see photo below), Alexis Saelemaekers is in pole position to replace Leao. Junior Messias will thus get the chance on the right and Charles De Ketelaerre is also set to replace Brahim Diaz.

However, a few reports have suggested that Rade Krunic could play from start, as opposed to Messias. That would allow Saelemaekers to stay on the right, but these reports have gained little traction especially after Pioli’s words on the matter yesterday.
