GdS: Predicted XIs for Milan vs. Sassuolo – One forced change for Allegri

Massimiliano Allegri is expected to keep things simple for today’s game between AC Milan and Sassuolo, making just one (forced) change to the starting eleven.

The win against Torino was very important indeed, but with Sassuolo up next today, the Rossoneri will have to show that they can succeed against a newly-promoted side too. After the defeat against Cremonese and the draw against Pisa, they need a win to put pressure on their rivals.

As said, Allegri has decided to make things easy for himself with the starting eleven. Compared to the one we got to see against Torino on Monday, as reported by Gazzetta dello Sport (see photo below), the gaffer will make just one change.

Pulisic back from start

The backline and midfield will remain exactly the same, with Ruben Loftus-Cheek getting the nod again even if Samuele Ricci battled with in the last few days. The only change will thus be in attack as Christian Pulisic will replace the injured Rafael Leao.

Had the No.10 not got injured, then the American definitely would have replaced Christopher Nkunku instead, but now the two former Chelsea men will start together. Hopefully, the Frenchman can impress too.

Predicted Milan XI (3-5-2): Maignan; Tomori, Gabbia, Pavlovic; Saelemaekers, Loftus-Cheek, Modric, Rabiot, Bartesaghi; Nkunku, Pulisic.

Predicted Sassuolo XI (4-3-3): Muric; Walukiewicz, Idzes, Muharemovic, Doig; Thorstvedt, Matic, Kone; Volpato, Pinamonti, Lauriente.

  1. THERE SHOULD BE NO MISTAKES IN THIS MATCH, WHAT WE NEED HERE IS MAXIMUM THREE POINTS BECAUSE WE’VE HAD SO MANY POSITIVE RESULTS PLAYING AGAINST ALL BIG TEAMS IN SERIEA THIS SEASON, EXCEPT THE NEWLY PROMOTED AND RELEGATION THREATENED TEAMS. FOR MILAN.

  2. No attacking g subs. If either Nkunku or puli don’t work, one of them will probably sub out (most likely Nkunku) RLC will move up and Ricci will come in I bet. Hopefully pulisic and Nkunku provide good fire power. Would like modric to get subbed early if possible for Jashari
