Olivier Giroud is hoping to be decisive again for AC Milan at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona, and then to sign a contract renewal shortly after.
According to TMW, the Milan management have found a full agreement with the 36-year-old to extend his contract which expires at the end of the season, and he is hoping to celebrate with a goal tonight before he puts pen on paper.
Giroud will renew for another season – therefore until June 2024 – but it will have an option to extend it by another year until 2025. His salary will remain the same, and the Frenchman has the wish to end his career with the Rossoneri.
After winning the Scudetto last season thanks to his crucial goals and with objectives to fight for this season, it was a mutual desire to move forward together.
Giroud scored 11 times in Serie A last season and his eight this time around, totalling 26 goals in all competitions out of 75 games played with 10 assists.
