Olivier Giroud scored another big goal that was worth another huge three points for AC Milan during the win over Napoli.

It was a tough physical confrontation with two big centre-backs like Koulibaly and Rrahmani, but the Frenchman waited for his moment and pounced just like he did in the derby against Inter.
The remarkable thing is that he risked being forced to leave the game early due to a large cut on his left calf after a strong challenge from Koulibaly but carried on. On the other side of the field meanwhile, Oshimen tried in every way to dictate the attack but Kalulu and Tomori kept him very quiet.
Davide Calabria’s mishit shot fell perfectly for the No.9 just as Brahim Diaz’s deflected perfectly to him in the derby for the equaliser. But there is no luck involved: to be a great striker positioning and anticipation is key, and the 35-year-old has it in abundance.
After the substitution, due to a sprained right ankle, Giroud was trying to be the head ultra from the bench, encouraging the travelling fans until Orsato blew the final whistle and then leading the celebrations after too.
Big shoutout to Kalulu. IMHO he was MOTM in this game. You couldn’t have asked more from a 20 year old who is essentially 3rd choice right back and 4th choice CB. In my opinion he has been instrumental in helping this club stay near the top during a very difficult period for central defense. Before the game I though this could easily end up a 3-0 win for Napoli given how dangerous Osimhen is and how some of their other players can be, but Kalulu and Tomori just shut them down. So. Friggin. Huge.
Yes Kalulu and tomori were both brilliant ,and indeed had to be against a very good team …
Also great credit to Olivier Giroud,,who despite an injury carried on playing ,and indeed got his reward for his great technical ability to be in the right place at the right time ..He has complete confidence in himself and so have .More goals to come from him .
