MN: Giroud disposes of fever but Tonali misses training – the latest from Milanello

By Oliver Fisher -

Mixed news has arrived from Milanello regarding the fitness of two key players ahead of Saturday’s huge game against Cagliari.

According to what is being reported by MilanNews, Olivier Giroud trained with the rest of the squad. In recent days, the French forward had a fever which he has now disposed of and therefore he will be available to Stefano Pioli for the game in Sardinia.

However, the presence of Sandro Tonali in the game should not be taken for granted at the moment because he is now suffering with a fever. Tomorrow’s final training session will be a big indication, and it could be that Franck Kessie and Ismael Bennacer start together.

There are no other updates meaning that the only injury absentees should be Simon Kjaer (he will miss the rest of the season after surgery) and potentially Tiemoue Bakayoko, who has a muscle problem that he is recovering from.
