Olivier Giroud is expected to play from start as AC Milan will face Udinese on Friday evening, seeing as Zlatan Ibrahimovic is still injured. It’s been a hectic but successful period for the No.9 lately.
Since the start of the year, Giroud has found the back of the net six times and he has also assisted two goals. Ibrahimovic has been missed but not as much as first thought, which is good since he still hasn’t recovered from his Achilles injury.
On Friday, in fact, Giroud is expected to play his fourth consecutive game from start in the league and he has played the last three games from start to finish. Only in the Coppa Italia (two appearances) has he been subbed off.
He could perhaps be offloaded by Marko Lazetic on Friday, though, depending on what the score is. The young Serbian is expected to be called up but if he doesn’t make it, or if he isn’t ready to play, Stefano Pioli could throw on Ante Rebic in Giroud’s place.

1 game a week should not be a problem for an athlete or else its maybe better to skip one training to be more rested for the games??!

But udinese is our bogey team! Remember that 4: 4 scoreline when they had Sanchez and Di natalie ? I just hope we win but I hate us playing against Udinese, Hellas , and Micolli’s Palermo then.
Giroud good if play on sansiro , but better use rebic as starter and save Giroud stamina for semifinal coppa. Or more brave gamble use lazetic as starter striker and rebic as LW to save leao stamina
