MN: Giroud and Ibrahimovic precious resources for Pioli in Milan’s Scudetto fight

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan’s title battle will resume next Monday night against Bologna at San Siro and Stefano Pioli will have both Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Olivier Giroud to call upon.

MilanNews reports how both will return from their national teams later this week, hopefully in good condition and eager to help the Rossoneri potentially take advantage of the complicated challenges that Napoli and Inter have against against Atalanta and Juventus respectively.

Both Ibrahimovic and Giroud are leaders of Milan because of their charisma, experience, big goals and the trophies they have won in their career. They have 8 goals each in Serie A at the moment, hoping to add to that tally and guide the Rossoneri.

Nobody is immune to age and for that reason the club are looking around and looking for a younger striker for next season with several rumours suggesting that Divock Origi is close to an agreement with the club. We will see what happens between now and the end of the season, with the certainty being that the Swede and the Frenchman will give their all for Milan.
