AC Milan will again look to Olivier Giroud as they aim to clinch a vital win against Fiorentina that would edge them closer to the Scudetto.
La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) write how it was Giroud’s goal that got the Rossoneri back on level terms at the Stadio Olimpico in the win over Lazio with what was just his second goal away from San Siro.
The French striker turned out to be an important acquisition, entering the scene at the right time when Zlatan Ibrahimovic has not offered much in terms of physical guarantees. With 7 goals at San Siro so far this season – including two in the derby win over Inter – there is certainly plenty to suggest that he is a player who likes home comforts.
Giroud’s motto is as follows: “If you believe in it, you can do it.” He came to Italy to leave his mark and to win a title as a protagonist, and that is his mission between now and the end of the season.
