GdS: No alarm from Milan regarding Giroud’s condition – he will be fit to face Napoli

By Oliver Fisher -

There is nothing to worry about regarding the condition of striker Olivier Giroud and he will be present for the game against Napoli, a report claims.

This morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) confirms that Giroud worked individually during the last two training sessions at Milanello which had somewhat alarmed the Milan fans given that all the reports had suggested he will be back for the game against Napoli.

However, the club assure that there are no problems and the French forward is fine. He has recovered from the muscle problem he had remedied in the Champions League against Atletico Madrid and today he will finally train with the rest of the squad.

That means that he will be at Pioli’s disposal for Sunday’s match against Napoli at San Siro, which is an absolutely crucial battle between two top four sides desperately looking to rekindle some form after setting the pace for the first part of the season.

  1. Ibra starts and Giroud comes in later in the second half. Hopefully, Ibra scores one or two goals before the 60 min mark, and Giroud comes in to score one as well.

Of course, this is wishful thinking!!

    Forza ragazzi!
